My name is Kayle Rutar, and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at Champion Rehab. I earned my undergraduate degree at St. Cloud State University and later lived in Boston and Utah, where I completed my graduate studies at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
My professional journey has taken me across a variety of settings, including a specialty school supporting children with Autism, inpatient rehabilitation with adults, and a long-term acute care hospital working with critically ill patients. After welcoming our second child, my husband and I decided to return to Minnesota to be closer to family and friends.
I am especially passionate about ventilator and tracheostomy care. Helping individuals regain their voice through a Passy Muir Valve or take their first sips of water again is incredibly meaningful to me. At my core, I am deeply passionate about communication—something we often take for granted until it is lost. I feel honored to walk alongside patients during vulnerable moments, helping them rebuild confidence, reconnect, and find their voice again.
